Hey People!
Guess what? My sister is so cool she made the NATIONAL SELECTIONS TEAM! Congratulations Kenna. :) Keep working hard!
It is the middle of March here in Florida which means it is starting to get pretty hot. We also had daylight savings and while it wasn't a whole lot of fun to lose an hour of sleep, it is super nice to have another hour of daylight later in the evening because people are just naturally more receptive when you aren't knocking on their door in pitch-blackness. Funny how that works.
Sister Gailey and I have been contacting a lot of formers, and on Saturday night we saw a huge miracle! We went to contact a YSA former and ended up talking to his mom, who took all of the discussions with him and came to church a couple of times. She was shocked to see us but overwhelmed with gratitude and started crying as she talked about how much she wants to change. It was a really powerful night.
Something that was shared at our zone training this week has stayed with me: "Remember that miracles have happened. And because they have happened, they can happen and they will happen." I love how frequently the prophets in the scriptures refer back to miracles they know have happened in the past and use those miracles to support their faith until they recognize another one.
I love you all! Enjoy your week!!!
Love,
Sister Bren Scadden
