Okay. I have a ton to write, so excuse my English.
This week has been awesome.
On Monday after e-mailing we went to have a zone activity and played Smash Face. This was monumental because I found a missionary game I am semi decent at!!!! Monumental news people! It is basically dodgball but there are no sides and it is individual. So basically you are just throwing things at people. Goldhardt would be proud at the way I applied water polo to the court. ;) I won 2 of the 3 games. ....Also, this week I will be working on humility.
After Smash Face, Sis McGrath and I went out to our appointments and it was just a normal Monday. On our way home, we noticed a text from President asking us to call him. We were terrified. But, we picked up the phone and dialed President and when he answered, he told us he had a referral he wanted us to check in to. We were extremely relieved that it wasn't an ET. Haha. He told us that he had gotten a call from the Mission President in Macon Georgia and gave us some information. I said "Hold on, President, is this guy's name by chance Mike?" And he said "Yeah, how did you know that?" We told him about knocking into Mike on Sunday. Coolest story ever! The zone leaders are teaching him now sense he speaks English and he has a baptismal date. :)
On Tuesday I realized that I miss the snow. Also, on Tuesday I realized that I like the Christmas MoTab songs. When I realized these two things I felt extremely ashamed. And then I turned the Christmas song up to drown out my grief.
On Wednesday we went to teach an appointment and there was some Trap music blasting and Sis McGrath and I had a dance party in the car before we got out and remininced for a small moment about good songs.
Then, on Saturday, WE WENT TO THE TEMPLE. Jennifer got her recommend and was able to go inside and do baptisms with the youth in our ward. We stayed outside with Josh (Jennifer's son) and gave him a temple tour. Then we went out to Golden Coral with the youth of the ward and Jennifer. I LOVE this ward. I will probably be attending a Spanish ward for the rest of my life.....Jennifer was so excited and is an amazing example to me. We've convinced her to move to Utah in a few years. ;) Josh is excited to go camping and swimming with us. And Jennifer promised to teach me how to cook Peruvian dishes.
Alright, also all this week I've decided that 4Life is the greatest company of all time. The founders are currently serving as mission presidents in Brazil right now and it is through this company that Jennifer found the church. About two months ago, we got word from our bishop of a couple that had been attending in Wellington but spoke Spanish and needed to be taught by us. We went to go visit them, but they were actually in the Elder's area, so we passed them. When the Elders dropped them, we were super confused but there wasn't a whole lot we could do about it. Well, when our ward split, the couple was in our boundries. We have thought about them a ton, and when we were knocking earlier this week we decided to go by and visit them. We clicked immediately! This family is awesome!!! The wife, Virginia, told us she really wanted to come back to church and then Gill, the husband, came out and said the same thing. They are AWESOME! I am soooooooo excited that I am staying here so we can continue to work with them. Oh yeah, and that connected to the 4Life idea because they also found the church through 4Life.
Last night we got transfer calls. In order to get our transfer information, we had to sing a song. So this was ours:
(to the tune of Justin Beiber's greatest hit)
When I was 10 Months, I had my first kid. There was nobody that compared to my baby, that could ever come between us, or could ever come above. She had me going crazy, oh I was awe struck. I woke her up daily (true), we don't need Starbucks. She made me work hard. The gators come when they see us in the street and we give them our card. But we really wanna see 'em on the weekend. We drop all of those crazies, teach only those amazing. But now my heart is breaking but I just keep on saying... Baby, baby, baby oh? My baby, baby, baby no! My baby, baby, baby oh. Thought you'd always be mine, mine. MCSCADDEN FOR LYFE.
Sister McGrath is transferring. :( :( :( I am super sad about it. Buuuttt, I am so grateful that I am staying in West Palm because I do not want to leave these people!
Anyway, there is so much more I want to write but I am out of time. I love all of you so much and miss you tons! Have a great week!
