This week was jam-packed but so rewarding. I spent my year mark in my "birth area" on an exchange in West Palm Beach. The best part of the day was seeing Jennifer and Josh! I am so excited to go to the temple with Jennifer in a few months and Josh is excited for me to teach him how to swim in Utah. I was also able to see Bernardo, the brother of Pablo, as he passed his baptismal interview. It was incredible to see the change in him since I first met him last June. Sometimes as missionaries we fall in the trap of thinking that in order to be "good", we have to change the whole world, but we change and are changed by those people God has specifically prepared for us.
On Friday we were in Ft. laud for a mission leadership conference and ended up doing more exchanges and then staying in Royal palm for the night because we did a service project in Wellington on Saturday morning. We gleaned a tomato field. It was soooo much fun! Then we went back to Ft. Laud with Jazmin to do baptisms for the dead (we just got permission to go with our recent converts.) Saturday night I was finally back to my bed.
It was a crazy week, but soooo amazing and I am grateful for my mission. Love and miss you!
