Just to update you all on the weather, we hit 90 this week. I have no idea why I put a weather update in every email, but there you go. I was gardening this week during our service hours and got bit by a slew of fire ants. That was fun.
Ashley, I am serving near Sister Tilby so we talked allllll about how you were at the MTC. ;) haha. She is a boss. I like her a lot.
CC, good luck at the MTC! You're going to be an amazing missionary!!
We had someone come to church for the first time since January! She is amazing and it has been really cool this past two weeks to watch how quickly God can change us when we allow him to.
I read two BYU devotionals this week that I really loved! I wanted to share a quote from Why we Must be Wholeheartedly Holy by Kerry M. Muhlestein:
"If we think about it, wouldn't we be surprised if we could understand exactly how God works...frankly, given my current limited and finite mind, I would be a bit disappointed if I were capable of understanding just how God works. That would imply that God's state isn't really that far advanced from mine."
That was a really cool new perspective and it really clicked things together for me.
I also LOVED women's conference. My favorite quote was that "Love is making time in your life for someone else." I am so grateful that Christ took time out of His life- and ultimately gave His life- for me and those I love, and for strangers. It is a privilege to give a short time of my life to carry the love of our Savior to my brothers and sisters. I know that as we learn of Christ's atonement every other question and fear falls into perspective.
I love you all so much! Have a good week!!
