So last week I got pictures of my siblings playing the pokemon game and none of us knew what it was or had even heard of it. But this week I suddenly understood why all these kids/teenagers/adults were randomly running around, suddenly dropping their bikes and saying "It's over there! It's over there!" Props to the pokemon game for getting people out of the house in the Florida heat. haha.
It is so difficult to put into words (especially quickly) what a mission has meant to me and the amount of gratitude I have felt this week and this transfer. That's why my emails are so short...there just aren't words.
This week though I wanted to share a part of Moses 1:8. Moses is having a conversation with the adversary and towards the end of it tells Satan that he has "other things to inquire of (God)." It hit me pretty hard as I read that questions and the unknown are a huge tool in staying close to God. As long as we stay true to our quest and seek direction from God, we don't have time or patience to give head to the temptations of the adversary because we know that we have "other things to inquire."
I also liked 3 Nephi 19:3 which says that the Nephites "labored diligently" to be in the place that Christ would come again. Do we make being in holy places and spiritual experiences our highest priority? What are we doing to be close to the Savior? Are we willing to "labor diligently"?
I love you all!!! Have a good week!!!
